Bonner Center Fellows

Fellows concentrate on issues-based projects in cooperation and coordination with a Bonner Center community site, project coordinators and community partners. The Bonner Fellows along with Bonner staff and faculty advisers form a support team that meets throughout the year to guide the Fellow in selecting and/or creating an outreach initiative which may take the form of a service site and/or Community Based Participatory Research project. Fellows may also work with adviser to secure academic credit for their fellowship.

The Corella and Betram F. Bonner Hunger Fellows are involved in hunger, food security, sovereignty and food justice issues. Bonner Center Public Health Fellows are engaged in multiple, systemic issues (socio-economic, health behaviors, physical environment, access to clinical care) that effect health outcomes and the well-being of the communities we work with.
